Internet penetration testing
Your website, web app, APIs and anything else reachable from the internet, tested by hand rather than by a scanner.
Who it's for
Companies with a web app, customer portal or public API. Often the trigger is a customer, partner or auditor asking for a pentest before they'll sign.
Most small companies that get breached weren’t beaten by anything clever. A missed access check, an admin panel left open, a test server someone forgot about. We look for those the way an attacker would, then explain what we found in language the whole team can act on.
What gets tested
- Login, sessions and password reset
- Whether one customer or user role can reach another's data
- Injection, file upload and server-side request flaws
- Business logic that automated tools can't understand
- REST and GraphQL APIs, including the endpoints nobody documented
- What's exposed on your perimeter, such as forgotten servers, open cloud storage and DNS
What you get
- A report with a summary your customer can read and technical findings your developers can act on
- Evidence for each finding and a clear fix
- A call to go through the results with your team
- A free retest once you've fixed things, with an updated report
Typical sizes
| Example | Days |
|---|---|
| Marketing site with a contact form and an admin login | 1 |
| SaaS app with a few user roles and a REST API | 3–5 |
| Multi-tenant platform with a large API and third-party integrations | 6–10 |
At $1,200 per day. Examples only; every job is quoted after a free scoping call.
Questions
Is this just an automated scan?
No. Scanners are run for coverage, but the findings that matter come from manual testing, and the report says which is which.
Could testing take my site down?
Testing is planned with you beforehand, avoids destructive actions and can run against a staging copy if you'd rather.
Will the report satisfy my customer's security questionnaire?
That's what it's written for. Most customers want to see the scope, the findings and proof that they were fixed, and the report and retest cover all three.
